Many have been involved in moving toward resilient local food systems that meet the needs of communities. Much has been accomplished in recent years yet we are still faced with challenges of working across silos, burn out among our leaders and activists and actions that do not sustain themselves. By transforming the way we work together, we believe we can increase our capacity for large scale change in Nova Scotia.
Our intention is to bring together some of the leaders in healthy, green, fair and affordable food in Nova Scotia to explore how we could work across the province for greater impact and more sustained results. None of us can shift the food system alone - the time of the lone wolf is over. Join us.
