CDHA Behaviour Change Institute (BCI)
HPC Network Home Page
Welcome to the CDHA Behaviour Change Institute (BCI) Web-Page. The purpose of this website is to support the learning needs of those clinical staff wishing to facilitate sustained behaviour change on the part of the individuals receiving clinical service. The primary way that the BCI will support this goal is through workshops, on-going supervision and face-to-face consultation. For those who have been involved in the experiential learning of behaviour change interventions, this site is designed to support your on-going learning needs.
This website will offer support in several forms. First, there will be self-directed learning modules. These modules are designed to provide an opportunity to learn the component skills of behaviour change intervention. Second, there will be postings of documents, slide presentations, videos and tools that will provide back-up support for the skills presented. Third, there will be a discussion board that will allow the community to engage in an ongoing dialogue concerning issues of interest. It is likely that this discussion board will allow specific questions and challenging cases to be discussed, will allow interaction between discussion board members, and will be a springboard for additional learning modules.
